Everyday, we are asked about how to relieve or reduce stress. The ramifications that it has on our health is becoming epidemic and sadly, so many people reach for unhealthy coping strategies that quite frankly, just increases the stress response in our bodies.
Join us for an evening that will add stress management tools to your toolbox. First stop will be at Purearth Organics where you will learn the powerful healing benefits of natural remedies served via a delicious and nutritious "Tonic". Rebekah, founder of Purearth Organics, will serve you a stress-relieving elixir and discuss the benefits of each ingredient. We will leave you with time to shop if you wish to add any of these remedies to your health regimen.
Next up? We will head to Love|Yoga|Grace for a stress relieving Yin Yoga Session. During the practice, Jamie deKoning will guide you and discuss how the shapes benefit and/or relieve stress. She will provide detailed information to add Yin Yoga to your live and how the practice can help you navigate the stressful times we live in.

This includes an hour yoga with the puppies and cuddle time.

We will be guided by local Traditional Helpers who will share with us the history and best practices of using this medicine. Next, Jamie de Koning will guide us through a yin yoga practice to deepen our connection with ourselves and community. While we are holding these floor based shapes we will feel the beat of the drum and rattles through our whole bodies. Next, we will hold space for a sharing circle.

A child who learns yoga, mindfulness, and relaxation will be developing essential skills for a lifetime of health and wellness in mind body and spirit. Yoga supports educating the whole child, mind, body, and spirit.
This 3 hour training will give you all the tools you need to start bringing playful yoga poses and practices into your day home. We will cover breathing, poses, games, mindfulness, relaxation techniques and more. A certificate will be given after completion. Please bring a mat (extras will be provided if you do not have one), water and a playful heart to learn and play yoga.
